Haven’t seen too many on the road in my area but caught this one roaring by while headed to the office this morning. Poor pic as they were roaring down the interstate.
When I got the email notification that someone posted on this thread, it showed me the text of your post but not the photo. So my first thought when reading about someone "roaring down the interstate" was, "Ooo - I wonder if it was me!"
I know there are other LC owners here in Colorado...but I never saw one before buying mine (bought in VA, shipped to CO). I went to my local dealer, Stevenson Lexus in Frederick, and several employees came to look at my car saying how cool it was and that they rarely see one.
We are rare, no? On my 6 mo. service I made the Lexus tech show me how to jump start from the front (service manual bit sketchy). Hood raised and he was fiddling on drivers side with +/- attachments points while I knew passenger side was where he should be looking. Called for help and next tech did show me where the + resided but never could show me a ground point to recommend (ECU) proximity issue. Point of post is an employee was snapping photos of engine compartment he'd never seen.
Is it me or does it seem like there is a disproportionate number of LC's in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area? Every time I'm out there (like next week again), I see a number of LCs in the wild (more than anywhere else I visit) ...which only makes me want to get back home to drive mine again. Weird...
