Thought this was a nice group shot. That LS430 has been a faithful member of the family but I have replaced her with an LS 500 for daily driving. I love my new LS but I just can't help but think it will never be the 430. Wish I could buy a new 430 but the 500 will have to do. It really reminds me of my LC coupe, just much more practical.

Completely understood. I owned the 1991 and 1998 LS 400 for many years and trouble free miles (200K> each). As excellent as they were, my 2004 LS 430 was ever more special. An iconic car if there ever was one.

I traded my LS for the LC with no regrets. It was a great car just not practical for me, too big. It was company owned and executive driven with low miles at a price I couldn't resist. After 6 months of ownership I realized it wasn't for me. Coincidentally I saw an LC500 for the first time and knew it was for me.
@Sundriver
Congratulations! I loved that dark midnight blue color. After six months of driving the big LS how is the comfort level in your LC 500 by comparison?

The LS seats are at the comfort level you'd expect for a luxury car. I routinely drive late model MBZs(excluding Maybachs) and the S class is the only one that compares to the LS. That being said the LC has the best fitting seats as expected for a GT car. I think for me long distance driving in the LC would be better than in the LS. I love everything about the LC. Its short comings are insignificant compared to all it has to offer in feeling good when driving.
