Unfortunately I don't have trunk space in my convertible.
Gonna have to do an 8 or 10 on the passenger floor/wall.
I bet that they could use the OEM spot between the rear seats to build something with fiberglass to fit in that same spot as opposed to building it in the floor. It looks like you have experience with high end custom systems so I’m sure you have a shop that can do something amazing. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
I know this was mentioned before but I don’t think it was ever resolved, the thread got taken over by people discussing audio sources. My sub rattles on my 2021 LC 500 convertible with certain songs that have deep base.I took it to Lexus and they told me it was the speaker flapping and not vibrating, and that the system couldn’t handle that much base. I didn’t buy that for a car that I spent this much on and thought I remembered seeing a post about it. I found the post when I got home and it is the sub cover, I took it off and noise stopped. I was wandering if they ever found a solution. I’m taking the car back in tomorrow and I’m tired of all the little problems I have had with a car that cost so much. I’m about to tell them to keep it and I’ll get something else.

Does the grill pop out easily? Mine sucks, too. I'd like to test it.
Can't use plastic on a sub grille too much air movement it will rattle. I rarely do this I will defend the dealer they can't fix this they didn't design and build the car.

Let us know how that works out for you!
Fyi, I have PLENTY of customers and friends who spend $250k+ on vehicles and have WAYYYY more problems than a speaker grill rattling with bass.... Visited the Lamborghini forums lately?!?! If you think just because you spend more money that it'll resolve your problems (or make you have none), you're highly mistaken. $90k-$110k, or whatever you spent on your LC500) is the beginners level of luxury cars. And at NO LEVEL are you exempt from small problems. Try your best not to over react and just fix any small problem best you can. The LC, as are most all Lexus vehicles, is/are FANTASTIC vehicles!
Post a few pics of the grill and I'll see if I can help you. Sure it's nothing a little sound deadener or weatherstripping or foam can't quickly resolve. Will be much easier and faster than going thru the hassle of giving them the car back and you searching for a replacement that's "better" for the same or less money (isn't one).

Ditto to 'EVERYTHING' Vitveet just said. I could never have said it better myself. I consider myself an audiophile. And I appreciate your disappointment with the Bass response in your LC. You've gotten alot of good advice to your concerns. Without getting too technical, there are probably very few car systems they can successfully reproduce the actual bass frequency recorded in today's media without overload. When that happens, the bass distorts and speakers rattle. In the good ole days when I was installing my own sound systems in way lesser cars than the LC, I was able to tune out some of the offending bass distortion using an equalizer. Now that mite seem a step too far for you but in lieu of giving up on your car, there are some reasonable cost effective options that will get you closer to a happy place with the bass/rattling in your car.
Yes it’s fully unlistenable on any material that has much bass at all. Quite disappointing. I’m going to pull off that cover and hope the issue is solely there, but pretty sure it’s multiple areas of resonance. Music with little base is ok, but pretty much all music popular with young people brings about almost constant reverberation, buzzes and rattles.
At first I thought they had designed it that way to keep people away from popular music.
Go to just about any high end car (not Lexus) site or FB page and you will find endless tales of things going wrong, “done cheaply”. Known issues, design fails, common fails. On the LC that fuel pump has been the main one but overall these are as solid as any cars made.
Yes the sound system is not robust or suited for anything young people listen too. There is no provision for surround sound. Weird. But money can fix this. A solid custom system can be done for a few thousand.
I would not want to drive this as an only car because I do enjoy dynamic sound, and plan to get back into that hobby more in future. I put less than $3000 into the sound system on my daily Honda Civic Si and it’s very good. Not great but solid, wireless Carplay and charging.
I will not be continuing the Satellite radio 3 month trial because of the constant rattling.

If you like good sound, the LAST thing you should be listening to is satellite radio, and because their 'quality' is so poor, they likely boost bass to impress the unsophisticated, only making things worse.
sorry to hear. what are the other little problems?
about the sub cover, if it rattles, maybe some simple felt around it inside will eliminate that.
Thanks I’ll try the felt. I had a problem with the driver seat, then the protective film pealing, and now the sub. Not major things, just annoying to keep dealing with it and be in a loner car.

Here are the pictures of the sub and it’s cover. It seems like the vibration is coming about 4” up on the bottom.
Lexus IS looking into a fix but they have nothing yet.
