These are the flac files it will recognize
I burn all my physical albums to .wav lossless at highest quality for the LC. When I tried to play this on my older Lexus, it does not recognize the lossless file. I then took these file and convert to mp3 and they sound like crap. The dynamic range is lost and compressed so bad that I couldn’t listen to most of the songs.
I think if I burn the physical albums in MP3 highest quality to begin with, maybe the MP3 will sound okay. But I’m too lazy to do that to all my albums.
In short, I only use .wav lossless on my ‘24 LC.
I'm a big vinyl fan, too. I download a handful of my fav albums on Qobuz and the quality is as good as it gets, even when I stream it in the LC.
Since the '24 and newer LC's lack a CD player, I have all of my CD's ripped to a memory stick in FLAC format. This is what I use when I'm not listening to Sirius (typically Yacht Rock Radio ). The user interface for playing a memory stick leaves a lot to be desired, but the music quality is great!

That "no CD" would really suck for me, I enjoy spinning CD's in the car, don't even have one in my home setup...
I have a CD player in my audio system and I still use it and enjoy popping in and out the disc. However, I would never use a single disc CD player in the car. The 12 songs or so is not enough and changing CD is a PITA while driving.
As others have stated, FLAC (and any lossless compression method like WAV, M4P, etc.) will sound infinitely better than MP3 audio. I don't consider MP3 music at all. Also, using a Hi Res audio player app like USB Audio Player Pro will make that Mark Levinson system sing.
How do you use Audio Player Pro? Download app to phone, load songs (which format?) to app, connect to LC w USB cable?

I agree with changing the CD while driving. Whatever I load in before I leave the driveway, that's it for the trip. Usually Steely Dan's 'Aja,' Bob Marley, or Lauryn Hill. If I'm still driving when the CD ends, I got straight to streaming Qobuz.

USBAPP is a hi res music player app for Android phones. Pretty cheap. Download it on your phone and use it to access whatever music files you have (or will download) on your phone. You can acess the app through Android Auto or on your phone as a music source if you prefer the Lexus interface. Cabled or Bluetooth works fine.
I ordered mine with base system…. hopefully I’ll be listening to the engine and exhaust more than the stereo.
Assuming you have already taken delivery of your new LC, what is your impression of the Pioneer system? If not, could you let me know after you receive it what you think. (Because of an ordering glitch at Lexus, My Mark Lev and heads up were both deleted.)
My LC is enroute and scheduled to arrive mid - November.

My Spotify selections are showing Lossless on most selections. It seems to sound better to me but I am certainly not an audiophile and was wondering what the consensus is for this?

Yes. Finally they offer this!
I use Tidal mostly, and the HiRes is the only way to go.
Hi everyone, not sure if I have the same issue as the rest in terms of rattling, I have 17 coupe and to check if the rattling from the cover, I removed it but still the rattling is coming from the subwoofer it self ( without the cover ) , any idea what to do ?

There is a third brake light rattle for that year.
