Has anyone had to replace one of the speakers in either door? My D side is out, no response regardless of the switching between L/R.
Can you hear that it's blown, at all, when you switch balance to the driver's side or is it completely silent?
I ask because if it's completely silent I would remover the door panel to confirm wiring connections are still good/connected.
New owner here and I am confused re: how the CD/DVD player operates. It shows up on the menu screen, plays fine and sounds good after I made some adjustments to my ear but I can not figure out how to use the SEEK TRACK or TUNE buttons. It keeps playing the same song (#1) and even when I go into the ROOT file and select a specific song, it plays something else. I am fairly certain I have any repeat or random play option deselected. I have read somewhere maybe in this thread about a similar issue but any help here is appreciated.
Very strange behavior. Mine plays everything fine no special settings needed. It goes to the next or previous using ether steering wheel controls or from middle console section there are 2 buttons to skip. Btw did you made that cd/dvd or it is standard one?

I created the dvd with mp3 & mp4 audio files. I will try a standard cd & see if it behaves differently.
I probably missed it scrolling through all the posts. Does 2025 play flac files? and if so does it sound better than mp3?
Check the mutlimedia manual for full detail stating page 218.
These are the flac files it will recognize
I burn all my physical albums to .wav lossless at highest quality for the LC. When I tried to play this on my older Lexus, it does not recognize the lossless file. I then took these file and convert to mp3 and they sound like crap. The dynamic range is lost and compressed so bad that I couldn’t listen to most of the songs.
I think if I burn the physical albums in MP3 highest quality to begin with, maybe the MP3 will sound okay. But I’m too lazy to do that to all my albums.
In short, I only use .wav lossless on my ‘24 LC.

As others have stated, FLAC (and any lossless compression method like WAV, M4P, etc.) will sound infinitely better than MP3 audio. I don't consider MP3 music at all. Also, using a Hi Res audio player app like USB Audio Player Pro will make that Mark Levinson system sing.

Off-topic, but are the LC500 manuals available for download?

All the owner’s manuals are on the Lexus app.
I have the physical book in the glovebox but I usually just use the app because it’s easier for me to look at the index and tap on the topic where I want to go rather than flipping through the pages. And most of the time, my hands are dirty from messing with the car when I need the manual to look at some specs like wheel lug torque number.
Im sure they are available to download on the Lexus.com/owner site.

Thanks; I guess I need to wait for the delivery of my car before I can access the Lexus owner site. This will be my first Lexus.

How do you use USB Audio Player Pro? I'm assuming download to my phone, connect to LC w USB cable, select Android Auto? Usually I use my phone app, Tidal, and connect w USB cable.
The interior of the LC is so small, I don't expect great sounding audio anyway. I usually listen to podcasts, books, or just the sound of the LC V8 exhaust, but there ARE times I want Supertramp, or Talking Heads, or electric Neal Young, or Duanne Alman, or....
