Hey all, just curious if anyone has customized their dash on the passenger side (2024+) to spruce up the otherwise very bland leather next to the infotainment?

It's a real shame Lexus just slapped on the touchscreen and messed with the sleek design (preaching to the choir, I know). It doesn't look horrible on a black dash, but it sure does stick out on the caramel interior!

P.S. I still love the car.

 

The 2025 has Alcantara in the blank section on the passenger side. I’m pretty sure you can get the part but unassemble the dash and installing it is a different story.
my interior is black and it hasn’t bother me much.

 

Same w/ black interior it does not stick out as bland to me, but could see that being the case for lighter colors.

I love the touch of Alcantara there in 25+ and I want it but I'm not keen on disassembling the dash to swap it out, so currently not entertaining it as a mod. I think @LC500SD has done it.

The 2024 blank passenger dash area is leather covered and the 2025 it is Alcantara. Do you find the Alcantara “visually” more appealing or are you referring solely to tactile aspects/ aesthetics?

 

Watch this from about 8mins to 25mins to get to where you want. It’s a 23 model but probably the same as 24+.
On a side note, after watching this, I would rather just not have the CarPlay or whatever they’re trying to install. And good lord! I ain’t doing all that to my LC to replace a piece of dash component I didn’t like.

It is a subtle thing that's both visual and textual requiring no further embellishments with Rioja Red Alcantara. Other interiors' colors I cannot comment. The design and flow of dash colors and the components are perfect as can be without any hint of voids. 2025 LC

 

Yes this exactly. I would never touch it likely so that is less important but visually I like the tie in with the rest of the Alcantara I have in my interior.

 

Thanks! That makes sense to me and probably why Lexus decided upon switching to the Alcantara in the 2025 model. I could be happy with this but must say the embroidery addition in the Pinnacle model is also quite nice.

 

Completely agree. Calm, simple, elegant, understated.

Edit: I do think the design would improve appeal on the all-leather passenger dashes.
