Default Matte Black LC

The first LC I saw was back in 2018 or '19 at the dealership in Birmingham AL. It was flat Black. I haven't seen one like it since.

I recall thinking how polarizing this car would be. I couldn't decide if I loved it or hated it. Made me think, ok, it's been primed, now what color should I paint it.

It almost made me regret purchasing my 2018 LS 500 because I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Anyone seen one?

Rob

Likely wrapped.
The only matte LC I know of from the factory is the 2024 inspiration with matte white.

That looks really nice. I expected the matte to hide some of the curves a bit, and I think of Range Rovers and G-Wagens (maybe an S Class) which look a bit boring when I hear of a matte black, but that looks really nice in the sun. Have you had any issues keeping it clean?

no real issues, just need to make sure to get any bird crap or tree sap off ASAP so it doesn't stain. i park outside, so i typically get it hand washed once a week, it gets spotty after it rains.

I see that’s NYC in the background. Have you left it outside during the winter? I’d be afraid of snow sliding off in blocks and leading to scratches with a gloss appearance. That’s huge if it takes it with no problem. My detailer begged me not to get a ‘24 Inspiration Series because I didn’t have another spot to leave it indoors.
