I noticed today that the drivers side mirror folds up more at an angle than the passenger's side. Looks like a different mount. Just curious why Lexus did this.
I just looked at mine, weird looking, now I can't unsee it (so left it unlocked). Tried to take some measurements/angles but couldn't determine anything. The way my eyes are anymore, not sure it's not an optical issue.

I just check mine, and noticed that this is true: the driver's side side mirror folds at an angle further from the car body than the passenger side, meaning the driver's side mirror when folded is farther from the door window than the passenger side. Can anyone else confirm this?

This piqued my curiosity so I checked my '18 and found no difference.
Curious as to the "why". But my 2025 coupe drivers mirror is noticeably pointing up more than passenger's when folded. Distance to window greater I assume due to curvature of the glass vertically.
