Default Squeaky rearview mirror

Does anyone else's rearview mirror squeaky awefully loudly while you adjust it? My wife and I both have different positions for the rearview mirror in our GS, so we adjust it occasionally. The front and rear halves of the mirror don't seem to tbe connected very well and so they move around and squeak loudly when adjusting the mirror. The RX330 loaner we got today is the same way. Is your mirror like this? Seems pretty crappy build quality for a Lexus

Nope, no problems here. Maybe you just don't have good luck with Lexus.

Good to hear. Based on your comment, I tried adjusting my mirror to see if I could duplicate the noise. There is some flexibility, but nothing too objectionable.

BTW, my girlfriend wondered what the heck I was doing...she thought I was nuts.

My mirror was replaced a 4-5 months ago for similar reasons. The mirror also had an annoying ticking noise during normal driving.

No problem with my mirror, just a squeak in the center dash near the screen.
