LC video thread

Hi everyone! I have been the owner of this beauty of a car for about 6 months now and it has been an amazing experience. I have always been a car enthusiast and this video project was in my mind for a while. I am very happy to make it a reality and share it with you. This is the first of many projects to come so stay tuned.

This is the first video I have seen for the new facility. A few glimpses of the LC in there.

In April of 2024, Lexus consolidated its development bases and moved to Shimoyama (Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama TTC S ), in an effort to facilitate a more seamless environment for crafting “Ever Better Cars” that transcends departmental boundaries. This new facility embodies chairman Akio Toyoda’s words and philosophy of "The Road builds the car, and people”, which is a simple yet important statement, that helps to easily define the aim and mindset behind this facility. This also reflects Akio’s strong passion to make ever better cars, and in order to accomplish this, we must drive, break, and refine the car over and over again. At Shimoyama, we've assembled design, engineering, sales, and other departments together, to create an environment that fosters collaboration as "One team Under One roof”, which is one of the most important aspects of this move. Team members from a wide range of functions, utilize the test courses and gather around the car like a pit at the Nürburgring, allowing them to advance the development of our vehicles. This enables Lexus to truly bring to life the philosophy of “drive, break, and refine cars." Additionally, Shimoyama is located in a what is known as “Satoyama" in Japanese, which is a mountainous area that’s rich in nature, and we’ve taken steps to ensure we are collaborating with the local community and being good stewards of the land. This is something we wanted to clearly express in this video because it’s something we take seriously as a brand.
