LC video thread
98k isn’t exactly great. I rather just spend another 5k to get a new one. Yes, you can get 6-8k off msrp on a new LC that’s already on the lot. Especially a white or atomic silver. Those usually sit for awhile.
A YouTube short video was just released for the yellow to red swap out. I haven't seen the original 2 videos that only have 2988 total views. Pretty cool!
2,473 views Jun 8, 2017 For the presentation of the new car, the Lexus LC 500 was lifted to the 6th floor of the Oko complex, Moscow-City. The work was carried out using a remote lifting platform and a truck crane. JSC "Spetsavtobaza No. 1". We move valuable objects from 200 kg to 150 tons. We work all over Russia.
515 views Oct 30, 2017 We exchange one Lexus for another on the 6th floor of Moscow City It’s time for the main character of the Lexus Dome space — the yellow Lexus LC 500 — to give way to its red twin brother. We had already lifted the yellow Lexus to the sixth floor of the Oko complex, so we knew exactly what to do. We dismantle the window opening. We roll the car up the ramp onto the cargo platform using winches. We carefully control it with slings from sudden movements and turns so as not to damage the glazing. We lower the platform to the ground with a truck crane and exchange the yellow car for a red one. We do all the actions in reverse order. We lift the new Lexus with a crane, pull the platform to the window opening, fix it and build the ramp. We pull the car into the room. And then the driver drives onto the podium.
On the occasion of the opening of another Lexus Kielce showroom in the Romanowski Group, we decided to show you part of our beautiful car collection. This time we have chosen unique Lexuses with V8 engines... 4 of them are F. The story begins, of course, with the ISF model, which started the sports models from the F family in the Lexus brand. Our example is the last release from 2014! The car comes from the German market and has only 34k km mileage. It is an absolute rarity in perfect condition. Its distinguishing features are unique rims (the so-called grille) and Alcantara inserts, a carbon spoiler on the tailgate and embossed "F" logo on the headrests - standard in 2013-2014 models. The second very interesting "F" example is the GSF. A family limousine with rear-wheel drive, a V8 engine with 477HP. This particular model has been with us since new, has 60k km mileage, a sunroof and a full carbon package inside. The third unique item is the RCF model in the Track Edition version. This is the last release of RCF in this version, which has also gained a few changes for 2023 and is one of the last RCF Track Editions in Europe. In this model, we have changed the exhaust system to a flap-controlled MG Motorsport exhaust made entirely of titanium! The sound of this car is out of this world! The next and last F model in this photo/video session is the RCF in the Ultimate Edition version - limited to 30 pieces for Europe, the gray RCF is based on the Track Edition version, but with a few changes. Our model is number 13, so it's definitely a lucky one
The Ultimate Edition was created at the end of the RCF model in Europe and this model will no longer be sold on the old continent. The last V8 on the video is the Lexus LC500 Convertible. Of course, it is not an F series model, but it is unique due to the limited series it comes from. This is a model limited to 165 units, distinguished by its matte, pearl paint and unique dark blue interior. All cars were prepared by our detailing department - Romanowski Detailing & Car Spa. All of them have a colorless PPF protective film, ceramic coatings and interior, rim and window protection.

I absolutely agree with you! I have a 2023 LC-C and can tolerate the track pad (especially vs. the 'tacked on look' of the new touchscreen). Couple other comments: 1) Doug's previous review of a 2021 version called it the 'greatest car that no one will buy' and rated it a 66 on the Doug scale. This one with all of the great interface upgrades only scored a 67 on the same scale. 2) I follow all of the LC 500 sales on his Cars & Bids website, as well as Bring a Trailer. If you look at the performance of LC 500's on Doug's site, they consistently either underperform (sell below market) or end as a reserve not met. So even though he is a big fan, I'd NEVER market my car on his site (although I'm never selling my car). Thanks for posting the video...just more confirmation as to why those of us who own the car know we made the right choice!
It is just Doug's opinion about the info system, I wanted 2024 LC500 but I wanted also the integrated screen into the Dash, CD player (have lots of CD's) and the clock so I ended up buying certified used LC instead. If Lexus just upgraded the Camera to 360, improved screen resolution and updated interface in addition to keeping everything as is, I would have bought the 2024.
Yup it boggles the mind, my guess is because of the inclusion of wireless carplay/AA. The problem is, they removed it and replaced it with......nothing. They just covered where it would have gone with plastic.
Yes, up to 2023 all LC's had CD Players, they were removed for the 2024 models. I guess Lexus listened to reviewers in videos criticizing "Who the hell use CD's now a days". Well I do, I am 67 years old and have plenty of them since my youth, bought first CD in 1988, I would listen to some CD's occasionally.
