Creating the frozen Lexus LC Convertible was no small feat. On top of the highly skilled process of freezing the car to -18 degrees Celsius in a precisely controlled manner, our team also had to capture the entire experience. The crucial moments when luxury convertible fired back to life and emerged into the daylight were especially important. We called upon professional driver Paul Swift to take on this unique challenge. Firstly, Paul had to safely drive the frozen Lexus LC out from the freezing climatic chamber with zero visibility. And then, ice still dropping from the LC Convertible, he put the open-top Lexus through its paces around a challenging test circuit.
I tried to check all 28 pages, and didnt see this video posted. Apologies if I missed it. British chap who seems genuinely thankful to Lexus for the opportunity to drive it, so perhaps a bit biased. Old video but a nice 40min watch.
Watched JayEmm and youtube tried to drag me into a Doug Demuro video afterward. NOPE. He is only out-done in annoyance factor by Raiti's rides. How on earth either of them are successful in a space with folks like TH, SG, etc is beyond me.
I feel like the red LC above with headers and exhaust made it sound worse not better. Not sure why exactly, maybe because it changed the tone/pitch too much? I feel like they nailed the exhaust note with the LC and ya cant mess with perfection.
