Default Strange jolt while turning??

I have 2022 that I bought used with low mileage. Looks brand new. It currently has about 2000 miles on it. Occasionally when I back out slowly from a parking space and turn the wheel while going backwards I get a quick jolt or jump in the steering. This occurrence sometimes even happens while turning slowly into a parking space. It's a strange sensation that is hard to describe. Almost like the tire is sticking and then it just jolts into place. Has anybody experienced this?

I have not but I'm guessing it might be related to the Torsen limited slip differential? On my Jeep Wrangler, if I lock the rear diff and then try to make a turn on dry pavement, it will react the same way that you are describing but that would be normal with a rear locker engaged. For a limited slip differential it should not do that - so perhaps your rear diff fluid is running low or may need to be changed?

My car doesn't have the limited slip diff.

dumb question but have you checked the tire pressures?
what tires does it have?

Tire pressure is good. I have the original Michelin run flats on the 21" rims. Car has under 2k miles on it. It happens most of the time while in reverse and turning the wheel backing out of parking spaces. Sometimes while turning into a parking space.

If this happens at full lock - It's normal on a Lexus.
