I have the exact same. Just have to switch out the bulb, no need to increase power.

5000k Vled 28 led. Pretty bright in person. The picture does not do justice.

reaaaally old pic, but shows the DRL niceley
this was taken around 4 pm on a summer day
6000k DRL from VLEDS, came with module
