Maybe this is an option on here that i have not come across. Is it possible for the creator/creators of this website to allow members location to be somewhat visible on a wide scale map? I don't need want it pinpointed down to exact street address, but i think it would be helpful to be able to search who is close to you and then be able to contact them with questions such as service locations and what not. Just a thought i have been having lately. Would be nice to see how many F's are in or around Missouri.

 

Cool Idea! City or State level would be nice.

 

Doubt this will get added forum wide but we can certainly do something like this in Google maps or another service and encourage people to add their location. Not sure how many people will see it and do it but its worth a try? Maybe even see if we can get the thread stickied? That may help.

 

What about the people who sell their ISF and don't remove their spot on the map?

 

they can either be removed, or would still have some input on where to go/not to go for service.

 

A motorcycle forum I am a mod on offers this ability.
Like google with a bunch of Pin Drops.

It is an add on Vbulletin option the site owner would install on the server. Users can opt out or opt in to share location.

Contact the moderators and raise it to site admin. See if they bite.
Most everything added takes more moderators to manage it so this being a larger site, well....

 

That is a great idea and it would definitely help local ISF owners. I think we might be a little weak in California I have not seen many where I live in northern California.

 

You don't need a moderator to do it.
