Issue with SS brake lines bursting the calipers?
I was told by someone who had SS brake lines on a motorcycle that sometimes SS lines work so well they put too much pressure on the calipers and can actually blow the caliper out. He also recommended to rebuild the calipers before getting SS lines.
Anyone here ever heard of such a thing?
btw I'm posting here because I don't think any LS owners have SS brake lines (yet )

i would say that this is virtually impossible unless you have faulty seals in your calipers...
the first thing that would give out or burst would be your master cylinder... with excessive pressure, you can blow out the valve in it...
but that'd still be pretty tough because this is limited to the amount of vacuum drawn by the engine...
hence vacuum assisted power brakes....
