Default Custom "F" Windshield Sun Shade

Well i tried the one from the Lexus dealer but it was a "roll-up" and seemed very awkward to roll and unroll. Next I bought an accordion folding one from Cover Craft; much better fit; metallic reflective but with a blue tint, which ties in nicely with the blue theme in the F logo.
However, I thought it would be even cooler with an "F" logo right on the shade. I decided to make an F stencil, then spray paint right on to the shade. My first attempt was to use hi-heat engine spray paint, though the adhesion to this reflective material is questionable... not a big deal though now because if it begins to wear off, i can simply go with a different kind of paint or fabric staining material.
I think it turned out pretty good for a quick logo cutout and spray job, might improve this in the future and refine the edges....

That looks great!
I definitely need to invest in a shade. I've had shades in my previous cars but I never liked the way they "fit".
That looks good though!

Thanks! Yeah this shade from covercraft was a bit more expensive, about $50, but fits really well, doesn't knock into the mirror and has a soft felt backing to it.

Looks good! I've been using the same sunshade - minus the F logo, of course. I couldn't go back to a roll up style sun shade, even if it was custom fit.

Where'd you get the shade? I've seen them on Amazon but was unsure of the fit. and I need one badly. I prefer the accordion style like this as well

Thanks! Yeah I thought of making it bigger... this is kind of lame but it was simply limited by the size of an 8.5 x 11" paper from my printer to make a stencil, Ha! but you're right it could maybe be a bit larger...

i got it from Amazon I think Covercraft UVS100. I had their search filter set for IS-F, but when you pull up the product it says it's good for is250 & is350; maybe they have the same windshield size as the F.
i think it also comes in a silver or gold tint if you like. Anyway, I think the fit is excellent.

So did I, I've been meaning to get one for a while since my dash is getting beat up in the sun. Now time to make a F stencil LOL.
