Default RC Chipped Paint Help

For my RC 200t Silver Lining Metallic, I have a less than a quarter of a penny deep chipped paint on the lower end of the right side-bumper.

What's the best solution this?
In fact, I bought the touch-up paint from the Lexus dealer, and they told me to just apply to it, and I don't have to sand it or apply a primer or coat.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Fortunately yours is on a hidden place on the car. On my '14 ES300h, I had same problem right near my driver's side wiper, at the bottom; and on the RC, I have it at the top left windshield border, and the driver's door edge. Very annoying and disconcerting,

I understand the frustration because I am a little OCD especially when this is a new car even though the damage is not very conspicuous.

I actually started a new thread talking about the same problem seeking for the self-repair solution in the IS section and someone has replied to me with some good advice. You should check it out.

The lexus paint I think is like 3 stages....I can imagine how much of a pain in the butt it would be to make any corrections if necessary.

Five stages if its the infra red, blue mica or the orange color. Ask me how I know that.

I don't think the orange color is applied using the five-stage paint technique - it just assaults your senses at 5 times the normal rate.

Oh, Johnny - you didn't fall for that old "ask me how I know that" trick, did you?
Fool.

Nice...now I want to see this in person lol. I didn't even look at it when I went to get my baby at the dealership. White, black or silver was all I even thought of considering.

Default How I know that.

I know the number of stages due to the fact that I had my Infra Red RC recently repainted multiple times.
Here is the thread about my journey. It took just about six months for the whole thing to be 100% resolved and two body shops.

No employment with Lexus or Google search gave me that knowledge. Good old experience with two shops to repaint my infrared RC. I saw the bulletin from Lexus which states in print, five stages.
