Default Performance oil change flush

I have a 2013 ISF has about 39k.

My local Lexus dealership was changing the oil for me. My rep was asking about having the performance oil change flush. I kindly declined but advised i would need to have this done after 60k each time i do the oil change. Is this true? Has anyone done this?

If the service manual does not call for it don't do it. An oil flush can potentially do more harm than good.

OK, you win. Whats an oil flush? I swear, I've never heard of such a thing and what could it possibly do?

If these cars have the oil changed anywhere near the recommended interval the inside of the motor is going to be very clean. How could it get cleaner?

I have a 2011 and I'm almost coming up on my 60k service...I've yet to read of such a service in the manual. Tell him to go flush himself...lol.

too funny lorenr & Soulfreak... I wondered the same thing... I keep the oil changes very regular and the reps really take good care of the car. i have no complaints so far of the Lexus Dealership.

over 120k here, no flush, and Blackstone says all is good. My engine under the valve covers also shows me a flush is a complete rip off;.

I have no clue how someone would do a oil flush... I mean... Do they just drain the dirty oil, fill it with new stuff, run the motor for a minute then drain and refill? I have to agree with lobux on this..

Is a "flush" the same as draining the oil and then pouring Seafoam through the system and draining that too?

The oil capacity is so large on these vehicles that it's hard to imagine any leftover oil doing longterm damage once it gets mixed with new oil.
