Default good or bad practice?

shifting to Neutral at long stops lights, drive throughs, etc....what do you all think?

I don't think it matters at all and frankly don't see the point....whatever sails your ship brotha!

haha

yeah i was more just kinda wondering if all else being equal, is this less wear on components over time, however little, or could it actually be detrimental in the long run?

Leave it in drive.. its not a manual car, so stop treating like it is one.

Maybe you need to work out your calfs abit more ....if they seem to be getting tired from stepping on the brake

No need for this action. Even in the Manual (F) mode, the tranny unlocks and drops to first gear to prevent stalling.
