Im installing my Borla exhaust and I want to reset the ECU. If I unplug the battery, will I have a problem with the car knowing my key or anything? Will I lose any setting besides the radio presets?

You can also unplug your ETCS 10A and EFI 25A fuses in your engine bay to reset your ecu.

 

i think its just the radio presets and seating memory iirc

I installed a Joe Z intake pipe last weekend. I reset my ECU by unplugging the ETCS 10A and EFI 25A fuses in the engine bay fuse box for a few minutes. When you start the car it will stall on the first attempt, second start will be fine.

 

And all the windows including the sunroof will need to be cycled. I hate disconnecting the battery for any reason.

 

Can you explain what this is??

 

All windows and the sunroof stop working in auto mode and you have to do manually to roll down and up all windows and the sunroof, it will work normally then.
