Default Please help!! Car won't start, ECU problem?

Hi all,

I just came to a situation that I couldn't start my RX300 suddenly. The car cranks but just didn't start up. I have tried push the pedal and hope the car will start (to see if the ICAV problem), still no luck.

And then I discovered that my CEL light, Low Battery light and transmission lights are not on when I turn the key to ON. Also, my fan near the radiator keeps running when I turn the key to ON.

So, is that a problem from ECU? Does my ECU fire up suddenly?

Alright, here is the update.

I have tried to plug in my OBD scanner to my RX300 and it said it cannot connect to the car. So, I really suspect my ECU is not working properly. I would like to know what can I do to check the ECU is working or not? Or how can I check if the fuse has blown to the ECU? There is only one in the fuse box called EFI, is that the only fuse to the ECU?

Many thanks.

That really does sound like the ECU. Just for grins maybe try disconnecting the battery and see if it fixes it.

Not sure about the fuses, I'll see what I can find in the service manual.

When you turn your key to the ON position, does your odometer display?

Yes, my odometer displays!
But when I plug the OBD II Scanner, it said "Link error".
