n00b traction control question?
Guys,
How do you turn the traction control system off so it stays off? I push the button at a stop light and it says off on the dash move off and after less than 30seconds its back on again??? WTF?

Four Modes:
1) Sport Mode On (lets you slip a little)
2) Traction Off (1 short push of the Traction Control Button, 1 light on, on the dash)
3) Everything Off, minus E-LSD (1 Long push of the Traction Control Button, 2 lights on, on the dash)
4) Everything off, even the eLSD ( "Pedal Dance" )
I have an 10+ LSD in my 08 ISF and I usually drive with method 3, unless its snowing/raining/other people in car, then I am just in sport mode.

Guys i have looked at the pedal dance and there is no way im doing that all the time! LOL...
I have pressed the traction button and the dash light comes on but after a short time the dash light goes out on its own? Is this normal??
Ill hope that just a long press on the traction button turns it off as I dont mind VSC staying on but traction kills fun in the wet IMHO.
Thanks for the help.

I have made the tail in slide a little bit accelerating through a corner just in plain 'ole sport mode. I have no desire to drive around with everything off.
The only reason to kill everything "option 4" is for the dyno. If you want to go have serious fun. Hold your trac button for 5 sec and wait for the two lights to come on. It will not turn back on unless you press the button to reactivate or shut your car off. All the isf will turn the trac completely back on the first time it feels you are lossing control with the quick push of your trac button
