why don't you swap the bulbs first to make sure it's the bulb...? If the driver side lights up, then you know it's the bulb. Troubleshooting 101.

I'd start with the bulb first to see if it is defective and work your way up. As far as bulb brand goes, most members uses either toshiba or phillips. Both are great bulbs. If its not the bulb, then make sure fuse arent blown. Then i'd check the ballast. If its not ballast, then maybe its the entire headlight. I had the same issue and i ended up swapping the drive side headlight. Let me know if you do need a ballast. i bought one from sewell but never used it. Good luck.

You probably just have to change the bulb. Stick with a new pair of OEM bulbs if you don't mind the yellowish output, plus if I'm not mistaken they are made by Philips. If you want a whiter light, buy a set of Garax 6000K bulbs.

I dont know how the dealer got to that point Just F me. I initially thought it was the bulb. So i Bought a brand new bulb and it didnt work. My headlight did have some condensation in it for quite some time. I end up taking it to the dealer to get fix. They told me it was the ballast, so i bought a brand new one but it still didnt work. So we end up replacing the entire driver side headlight. I still dont know why it doesnt work. Headlight is collecting dust in my garage. At some point, ill prolly tear it up and look at it.

This morning my driver side headlight came on but it looked like a non HID light compared to passenger side and then after a minute or so it flickered and went out. I have to work today and can't get to my mechanic and I tried to take bulb out but my hand will not fit down there. Need opinions from u guys before I order parts I don't need, does this sound like a bulb only problem?
