Default lowbeam headlight out

so when turning on the headlights yesterday, i noticed my passenger side low beam bulb was out. to confirm it was the bulb, i switched the bulb over from the driver side to the passenger side and it worked. but then when i put the bulb back in the driver side, it was out too!

i checked the fuses, not just the headlight ones, but all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood, none of them were out. the bulbs do not look burnt out and are fairly new stock philips bulbs. is it potentially the connection to the bulbs that's causing this? if so how can i test it/ fix it? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The connector can't blow the bulb. My guess is you got a fingerprint on the bulb's glass or the bulb just happened to fail at that time.

Put a new set in and see what happens.

Hes saying that he switched it to the other side and it worked, but he put it back and didn't again. I believe.

even though your fuses look good just try new ones. My buddie had the same issue before and it was just the fuse.

Connecters can corrode, and I have also heard of wires corroding on the inside. Hopefully it is not that in depth of a fix.

If its just a connecter then you could just go to a junkyard cut on and then re-wire yours. I have only of complete corroded wires seldomly.
