I'm in love. Finally the car sounds like a V8. As for drone, it is there but not bad at all. According to others in the forums, there have been fitment issues, I have none. No creeks, rattles, nothing. The exhaust system cleared everything very nicely. I warned the shop before they pulled the O2 sensors to be careful and work them slowly, I watched them pull them effortlessly, no lubricant needed. I inspected the threads, they were perfect. What a lovely experience, everything went very smooth. Thanks Defcon racing again for another great experience.
i love mine, too. but yeah, i had fitment issues. (w/ the metal shield near the mid section/resonator. and also one of the rear tips/muffler hitting against the rear diffuser when the engine and exhaust were at peak heating temps. after a few months, now i want to remove the mid reso for more sound! haha enjoy.
Awesome man. Are you planning to post some pics or maybe a good quality video clip for some sound to show off?
I would love to but don't know how to do either. I would love to make my first video clip if someone would like to show me how. I can obviously make a vid, it's the posting of it I need assistance.
What they charge for install? Was it the complete system header back or axle back?
Thks
what???
Just do it yourself. 4 jackstands and a couple of hours and you've done it. Have a buddy to help.... It's not hard at all. Just put my borla on a few months ago and I'm not a mechanic!
You run into any vibration or rattle issues? Any tips?
Update, I have run into rattle issues at the rear end. The mufflers had moved and were making contact with the rear bumper exhaust holes. That was the only location of contact due to slipping out thier clamps. I have since re-adjusted them and tightened down clamps further. Hopefully all stays ok now.

I used to do a lot of this stuff myself but as I get older I couldn't be bothered. $160 installed two guys worked on it, was out fairly quickly. It was a header back installation.
So since the adjustments and torquing down the clamps tighter, no issues. I have gone ***** out on her trying to get it's to move and nothing. I can't stop driving the car, the tone of it is amazing. I have got a lot of compliments at traffic lights and while driving. I know I know, I still have to get a video, I will when I get a chance.
