Default Strange issue today

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has had this happen.

Went through the regular 30 minute commute this morning, stopped at the post office for about 10 min. Got back in the car, car obviously still "hot." Go to start like normal, hit the START, and car just cranks ... and cranks. allowed it to do for almost 5 sec. no ignition.

Try again, and starts up normal.

Very strange. Anyone have anything similiar ?

Car is an 08, just hit 49k.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah, I've had it happen once. I have 53K on mine. It happened a long time ago. I haven't had the problem since. I never knew what it was. Just a freak thing.

sounds like a battery issue to me. I would get it tested out asap.

I've had longer than normal startups when it was cold here. But it still started up after 3-4 secs. 08 with 53k miles here. So I would concur with the above.
