So, 90k on the car

Few days ago I started the car (cold - sat for maybe 2 days). Started... then stuttered and died

Tried to start again... nothing - just cranked

Third time - just cranked

Went into the house... came out about 10 minutes later - it started, idled/stumbled (seemed like a misfire) at about 1,500 rpm

After 5 seconds of what seemed to be constant misfire - it idled fine. And drove fine.

4 days later - has run perfect since.

Gunk in tank that got sucked into line? Fuel filter?

 

I have had the same thing happen to me lately. Some days its fine, other days it, goes to start cuts off, go to start again cut off. Start again and it makes a clicking or ignition noise and fires up. Dives fine, not other issues.

Then it wont do it again for a couple days....

Would like to know what it is...
