Got my oil change at a local Lexus dealer today and I paid $53.99, but I forgot to ask what oil they put. I hope they didn't put some cheap/garbage oil.

I do not believe it would be real cheap oil but it was not synthetic for that price if that is what you are asking.

I've been using Castrol Edge 5W 30 and have been bringing it to the dealer to put in. When I was doing oil analysis on my S2000, Castrol Syntec gave better results than Mobil 1 Syn so it's Castrol Edge for the F.

FYI mobil1 isn't a full synthetic like it used to be, its more of a synthetic blend. Is it bad? No, not at all. Its still a very good oil
