One of my saved posts....
I just use the basic dino oil - Mobil 5w30 (Clean 5,000)
Walmart has the 5 Qt jugs ready to go for like $12 bucks each..
It didn't come with synthetic from the factory
2 - 5 Qt jugs of regular Mobil 5w30 = $ 27
1 - Lexus IS-F Oil Filter #04152-51010 = $ 8
1 - Lexus Drain Plug Gasket = $ .90
Labor = Priceless
Total Cost for ME every 5K Miles is approx. $36

BG synthetic oil is the only oil that will ever go into any of my engines. http://www.steffysgarage.com/downloads/BGChart.pdf it is the only oil too pass the very chalanging tfout test.
Royal Purple, as I understand, was causing 350/370Z engines issues. I used Redline with my 370Z when I had her. The big debate on the 370Z forum was Mobil 1 or Redline. Redline won out being the better buy.
Does anyone use Redline? Is it worth paying more for it than the Mobile 1? I think the Z06s come with Mobil 1 standard.....
