Default Brake Fluid Flush

Can the IS-F be done old school style , starting at furthest point from master cylinder etc. The reason I ask is on my 03 Z06 Vette you have to use an eletronic device or scanner to manually open some valves in the ABS system . Any help would be appreciated.

For the ABS systems it usually is the same (You would need to have a scanner to activate the ABS pump).

Usually after bleeding the brakes I will go out and get my ABS to kick in a couple of times. (I have no proof this does anything..just in my head it sounds good :P)

As far as normal bleeding of the calipers, you should be able to do it exactly like your Z06. I have a Motive products power bleeder that I used on multiple cars (including my LS2 GTO) and will be using it on the IS-F.

I was a little scared to do this myself. I'm getting it done at the dealer today for $166+tax. I think I'll be able to breathe easier the next time I'm doing 120 to 130 miles per hour and need to hit the brakes.

Actually, I just picked up my car. I got out the door for $149.

Yeah, plus it would take me half of a Saturday to do it. I thought it was a good price.

I usually do mine when I'm swapping my winter tires off and putting my OEM ones back on...car is on stands and wheels are off..takes me extra 5 min a caliper.

Buy these and you won't need anything but a wrench, AND you can do it all yourself.

On my S2000 gravity bleeding the brakes works very well (just time consuming)l - does anybody know if this method will work on an IS-F as welll?
