From a past thread, you might be able to get the seat replaced under warranty. He was and is the only successful seat warranty replacement I've heard in this forum due to abnormal seat wear.
So yes, take that approach and infer, the next time you're at the dealer.

I had the similar problem with me side bolster which showed wear within the first 10,000 km. I showed my service person and they did offer to possibly replace but I was concerned about the possible trim colour difference so have left for now.
The wear has kind of settled down so I am not sure if I will try get to replaced before my warranty runs out.
By the way I don't sit on a pillow but I do sit on a towel most of the time as I wear dark jeans a lot and have the white leather.

30K miles in a year... that's impressive!
Not to be rude or funny, but what do you weigh? Best I can suggest is to just be religious with your leather conditioning (see the automotive detailing forum on here for suggestions). If you keep the leather soft and supple, you'll reduce the wear.

Himmm, I've seen comments like this regarding the white leather a few times now. The black (blue) leather seems to hold up better.
I used these in all my cars. http://www.seatarmour.com/
They don't cover the airbags and just drape over the headrest, works great.

I typically put in on the seat if I'm working on cars and I'm dirty or if I have jeans with metal buttons on the pockets.
