I think there's a pretty big difference since it changes the throttle body position physically. Try holding the throttle at 3k RPM and then change the settings one by one you can see the RPM increase with each setting increase.
i bet it make s huge difference driving around on the street but at full throttle there is no difference. WOT is WOT if you want to go fast put your foot to the floor!
No throttle controller will provide any useful benefit other than making the driver think his/her car is more powerful or responsive. As someone mentioned, WOT is WOT no matter how you get there (actual heavy foot or an electronic facsimile thereof). Sport mode does a more than adequate job of making me feel my car is more powerful. Save your money and take the family out for an evening of fun......
