I'll be posting this with the valve lash inspection. Plugs and valve lash come due at the same time...
Parts are on order so I won't be without a car waiting for some o-ring to show up.

^ Thanks Lance!!!!
OEM Spark Plug Part number is: 90919-01249
Seems to be widely used in the Lexus line up.. and a bit pricey!!
Denso listed Part Number is: FK20HBR11
How do you feel about the coil packs life cycle?
I'm still about 6-8 months away before I need to change the plugs...

Ive changed my plugs about 5 times, and its not really that difficult. I have noticed a positive difference in idle and WOT performance with new plugs, so I would definitely recommend changing if its time.

Nobody gaps plugs for a street car anymore. They come gapped at the factory, and the electrodes are way too fine to gap yourself without special tools. Just don't drop them on the electrode end or you're hosed.

You're not going to gap a plug with two 0.4mm electrodes and a feeler gauge (or wire). You'll bend it well before you even get a chance to check it. I've also checked a lot of ND and NGK plugs - it's extremely rare they are even slightly off unless they've been mishandled or the thread sleeve is missing from the box.

I just had mine done last month a the Lexus dealer they only charged 170 and stuck with the quote, but they said it would be more next time. I think to get a loaner car and have it on record is worth anything under 250 for it.

Original poster here, glad to see that someone found this thread and reopened it.
I have been putting off the spark plug replacement since August as I am just about to reach 60k miles in February 2012. Reading the spark plug replacements DIY's for the IS250/350 and looking in the ISF engine bay, the procedure looks about the same.
Will take pictures and post if others haven't already by then.
