James congrats on getting a pair of sikky headers!!! I know you'll enjoy them as much as I have. The videos look awesome. Looks like I'm not the only cat in town with no cats anymore. We gotta get all the local guys together.

Default headers

wow awesome results. So again this was on 93 octane correct? Curious as to what kind of gains will be had with 91 since most of us in cali have to suffer with using this on a daily basis.

Great results!

Do the exhaust gases smell because you do not have cats? I've heard cars will have a pungent exhaust smell if there are not cats.

James,

I assume you have had cars with LT headers before, so don't be alarmed if you pick up additional valve train noise, it is normal for thin wall headers. Enjoy the additional ponies.

They are ready for pre order I believe. Go to www.sikky.com and check their site. It's in their products catagory.

You can smell it a little. IMO it isn't bad at all. I've been in cars that are much worse including my SC. The only time you can slightly smell it is when your at a stop with all of the windows down. When I'm driving I don't smell it at all.

In my personal experience, "catless'' tuned cars have a smell that is rich and very distinct. I've noticed a ''pungent'' smell with melted cats. Smelled almost like a rotten egg.

The simple and HIGHLY EFFECTIVE solution to that is to run methanol injection. It's a great way to effectively bring your octane up to whatever you need (within reason). It also cools the intake charge, reduces combustion temps, and keeps the engine squeaky clean

I'm so tempted to place my order for these headers, but I need to find first a good place down in Miami to do the installation. What's the average rate and time needed to install the headers?
