The LFA has the same whistle sound and we know it's not turboed, maybe something special with the F engines?
I was giving my buddy a ride in the car today and we were talking about the exhaust whistle sound that is audible when doing stand still revs. He pointed out that the whistle sound is most likely coming from the factory exhaust tips in the bumper. With all the cats out and the higher exhaust flow, the tips are splitting or diffusing the exhaust flow path causing the sound. I personally love the sound and have no complaints.
