VIN for IS F

VIN for IS F

My insurance guy wants a VIN to be able to provide a quote for insurance on the IS F. Does anyone have a VIN for an IS F? Also, can you help decode the VIN information? I believe the preproduction IS F's I saw have VIN plates.

I know J is Japan, T is Toyota. Is the information below correct?

Maybe this will help but a Neiman Marcus IS-F is listed on eBay with a VIN there.

Thanks for pointing that out, but it says in the listing: "**VIN number provided is not accurate. VIN numbers have not yet been issued. Correct VIN number will be provided as soon as available."

Can anyone provide a real VIN or verify the decode?

you will have to tell your insurance guy to override the vin# field and base the quote on the price of the vehicle for now.

or try basing it on something comparable, such as a 07 gs450h or 07 gs430. i just checked my insurance quoting system and we don't have any 2008 lexus models listed yet.

The only problem now, is that there is NO Comparable V-8 Lexus pushing 416hp.
So getting a quick quote now is going to be hard.. until they get it added to the system or do it manually with the actual underwriting group or teams.

The pre production cars that have vin#'s are no good and not registered. If you see anything with an 00002 on a pre-production, it's not a good vin.
