IS-F Suspension.
Higher rated springs? Differently valved shocks? Thicker Sway bars?

I got this pic off the Lexus Japan site. Is this the same basic suspension design as the regular IS?
I find it interesting, because it looks to me like an advanced inverted version of Toyota's JDM Super Strut Suspension used on the Levin BZ-G/R and the Celica SS-II/III. Very, Very Good stuff.
The picture on top is essentially the same as the suspension on the ISx50 RWD platforms. I'd be very surprised if there are any significant changes for the IS-F, but I would be very happy if they decided to include adjustability the ISx50 RWD do not have.
They fired her up, and anyone who puts an aftermarket exhaust on it, is a glutton for punishment. Sounded very strong, and when gunned sounded great.
There was some mention of a unique IS-F suspension...but no details. 19 inch tires and the extra 1" drop are perfect, if that's your thing. I'd still prefer 18" tires, so if I buy an IS-F somebody here may get to do a cool swap if the smaller wheels clear the big calipers.
The car was white, the exhaust does look better in person, and the interior is what you're used to, but the seats have extra side bolster support, so no slideing around. The CF is plastic I believe, because it didn't look real. The white portion of the seats were filthy. If anyone thinks the IS gray interior is hard to keep clean (i don't), this white leather will be impossibe.
Looks like a red IS-F with a black interior, and 18" wheels for me.
No mention of release date or cost, but most of the people working there are not regular Lexas employees.BTW, Taste of Lexus was better organized, but scaled down from the last few years.

Regarding the IS-F, the employee there at the time had no clue on the IS-F. Someone asked him what F standed for, he said "Fast". I then said "No, it actually stands for Fuji Speedway." He then showed me the "Lexus" on his shirt, implying that he knows more of what he's talking about (of course, I mentioned that I'm a member of ClubLexus, so I have insider information!).
He also mentioned horepower being 417, but I told him those are the Japanese specs and that the US specs are actually not known yet (yeah, another argument). Anyways, he expects a major announcement to be made on the SEMA show. Let's hope they announce final specs by then!
