^^ The module itself can fit down under the ash tray and never have to see it. The Navi/TV button switch comes through between the carpet and center console. I will eventually mount it on the side of the center console (not sure exactly where yet). I am leaving it loose right now as I haven't yet had my 1K miles check up with the dealer so I thought I might want to conceal it the best I can for now. I think pulling it way back towards the back of the seat will keep it pretty well hidden and I wont let them wash and vacuum the car... (as if it would actually need it )

I was hoping that this would allow videos from my Ipod, but I don't think it will and if it doesn't, then I will just create dvds with with the videos rather than spending anything more on this... besides, I hope not to have to get that air vents out again!

Must be great to have so much great weather to enjoy the vert! I am a bit jealous.. Prime time for me is still a couple months off.

unfortunately even though you have ML you cant play vids from iPods unless you have the VAIS sl2vi which is not compatible with 2010 hdd navs. That prestige kit will only allow you to enter in data on nav while in motion. even if you want to watch movies via disc (while in motion) you have to do the mod for it.

^^ I hope you are incorrect on this one.... I still haven't been able to check it out, but the website says it will allow video from dvd while in motion. Here is the website link:

http://www.prestigioussociety.com/le...-override.html

I realize the IPOD probably wont show video but I think the dvd will... I will know for sure tomorrow and will post.

oh yah! I remember reading in the original thread and must have gotten mixed up when they were talking about ML vs non-ML. it should work, but give a try and update when you can.

if thats the case i would have to shell out 7bills for this and the VAIStech unit. I dont have ML

Finally tested out the Navi Override kit and it works great! As expected, the IPOD videos still do not play, but dvd's will play while the car is in motion.

Joe Z has a great spot for the buttons... If I put it elsewhere, I will post a pic.

^^ I would love to Phil but there are none available. I contacted Five Axis, Branew, Tom's, working my way to vertex. I should check with WALD also, but the SEMA IS-C's all had custom work done.

anywhere besides the dealer...nope. parts offered from anyone else seems to be non-existent regardless of what it is. If you really want to do it, you might just have to shell out the bucks. unless you heard of some maniac in your area that crashed one?

fknISC808,,, Lookin' good... nice pics, but none with the top down!

Can you tell me a little about the red LED Dome/Puddle Lights? Might be something I want to do to go along with the whole MRM package.
