Awesome about Hawaii bro! Its been a year this month since I was there...and damn do I miss it

Yes, the weather in Florida has actually been really cold for here....and then rainy too - not good vert weather!

I will definitely keep this thread going!

I actually saw the new wheel today at work. It is nice, but I prefer the one I have more honestly. I like the back wheels on my car with the lip, it gives it a diff look. The new rim is definitely nice, don't get me wrong.....
We are doing the first one at the port right now - exhaust and brakes are on it thus far. I was expected the "blue" stitching to be a bit brighter, but it's pretty dark. I have the F-Sport shift ****, and it has bright blue stitching on it, but what I saw today, the stitching on the seats seemed dark. It was up on the lift when I saw it, so maybe closer up it would be brighter, who knows. We are getting 25 of them at the port.

I have really enjoyed the car a lot. I have only seen 2 here since I got mine in Dec, so that has been great. People give all kinds of looks, and have stopped me at various red lights asking about the car - its been fun!

What's your next mod going to be besides wheels.

^^ Take pictures if you can. I'd like to see one done up.

I'm sure others will chime in once they see the thread.

I've been searching and praying for lip kits. looks like they might just be coming around. It says IS-F but the C is listed in there with one picture. i wanna see more.

http://www.branew.jp/lexus/is-f.html#
Front Lip = $860
Sides = $906
Rear Lip = $ 871

DAMN! if you want real carbon for any of those pieces, your lookin at 2k each!?

I called them about that. They said they think it's a typo (actually, they didn't really know what I was talking about)....if you look you'll see that it also says it's for the sedans.

Not that easy phil. There aren't any kits out there for the ISC....yet.

that price is ridiculous, especially if the fitment is like this (thanks rashoodz):

^^ what you going with, coils, springs?

I was lookin at the IS-F page w/ real pictures at the bottom and was hoping that fitment were like that. Although looking at the pics that Rashoodz posted, I would say it def does look like the brandnew kit (FOR IS-C though) on that vert front ended sedan.

looks like the aftermarket community is just starting to turn their attention to the vert.

I'm probably going to go with F-sport shocks and springs, since it seems to be the only setup out at the moment that's specific for the IS-C. Also, I will have like 44 months and 47000 miles of warranty on it.

I hear yah when you say its specific but you know that the coil kits out there will work on the vert, because the suspension is the same. everything should be bolt on.

And i gave it a thumbs down because when other makes and models come out there is a plethora of aftermarket parts once it drops. I wish it were the same for us.

While I agree that it will bolt on, it's not really designed for the vert. The spring rates won't be right, the height/adjustments (ie- KW's recommended specs) won't be right, and it may not hold up to the extra weight (although I would think it would)

To me, the fact that Lexus developed different springs and shocks (both stock and f-sport) makes me wary of using a "compatible" kit.

IMO, if lexus could've figured out a way to use the sedan's shocks/springs, they would've....===> lots of $$$ saved

MRM on F-Sports is an AMAZING combo!! Post up some pics

I have gunmetal rims on my MRM as well

It honestly looked like the BRANEW CF IS-F Front Lip that was slapped on that ISx50 with the IS-C front bumper... and the rest of the slap on parts .

I hear yah on that one, good point. I guess I just jumped the gun and figure if it works for sedans then put it on the vert. Guess I should think about things a little more. im just to anxious haha.

I thought the same exact thing. It appears that they put the IS fenders on and from what we can see the IS-F front and sides. Cant see the rear so we can only speculate.
