Hey is there a hack for updating the navigational maps on the 2013 is250c. I hate when the maps cant take where im going with out me having to find the gps longitude laditude coordinates to get where im going... i dont want to have use my phone gps. This is sucky!
You can always spend the $400 or whatever it is for the official update from Lexus, or find the file online somewhere, but as far as I'm aware you need a TechStream to actually update the map.

I wouldn't do this though because the latest enform map update is only from 2018, which means they are accurate to 2017. That means you're paying $400 for 6-7 year old maps...
I used https://toyotamaps.online/ to update my maps on my 2013 RX 350. Was a bit of a detailed complex process in my opinion , but if you are good with computers it is doable (I used my Mac laptop to ready the 32GB USB flash drive used for the update). My maps info originally said from 2011, the update was for 2019 maps, also updates the nav unit software and also included a gracenote database update (2019 as well). Was only $75 (plus you have to buy or use your own USB flash drive).

Unfortunately all but the newest 2IS models (2012/2013, and the super-rare 2014 IS-C) have the 6th gen Infotainment system, which your website does not provide an update for.

That site also reads super-scammy.
actually the 2013-2014 are 7th generation and allows (useless) apps to be installed.
