Default navigation and telephone numbers

Does anybody know how to program the navigation to go by just typing in a telephone number? TIA I have a 2006 GX470 with NAV.

Hi Baby,

Are you trying to created a "phonebook" entry for the 1-touch dialing on your NAV?

If so, I believe you can only create the phonebook entries by "transferring" them from an existing bluetooth phone. I had to enter ALL of my numbers into my bluetooth phone first and then from there I was about to transer all of the numbers into the GX.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.

If you mean locate and set a Navigation Destination by Phone number, then that is part of the Destination screen. However, it can only search for Phone numbers that is has in the POI database. Meaning businesses. You can not search for a destination based on a residential phone number (unless of course they are running a business out of their house that is in the POI database).
