Lexus IS Convertible 250/350c Top Malfunction/Not Working FIX
Greetings everyone,
I'd like to provide a solution for a prevalent issue related to top malfunction, specifically caused by a loose internal component in the SWITCH. I've prepared some videos to guide you through both temporary/quick and permanent fixes.
I trust these will be helpful.

What strikes me (and doubtless others) is that Lexus could design this brilliant retractable top and yet a point of failure is at the mechanical operating switch.
I have not experienced this fault but if I do, your video will prove most helpful.

I replaced my switch with an OEM new one and still occasionally have the open/shut stop mid sequence. I think it's the fault of the manufacturing of the switch itself. I'll give this a try, thanks for posting.
I never had any problem after I fixed the switch. I hope the video helps you.
