Review Mirror

Want to replace my interior rearview mirror. Having trouble taking off the old inside rearview mirror. Saw videos of removing from the IS 350 but not the IS 350C. The difference seems to be that there is no screw on the underneath part of my mirror to loosen from the post. Does anyone know how to remove the inside rearview mirror? Or can anyone point me to a site that explains this?

If you don't get any answers, you might check with a windshield replacement company. They do that all the time.

Follow up on earlier posting. If anyone is in a similar situation, I was able to remove my mirror and send it to radar-mirror.com. They were able to refurbish it. Looks new. Took about 1 1/2 weeks to get back and cost $100. Definitely cheaper than the $700 dealer quote for a replacement mirror.

Rear view mirror

Can you tell me how you removed it? Having a hard time also 250c here

The base actually rotates 90 degrees. I used a site called ask.com. They put me in touch with a Lexus mechanic who sent me a diagram and advice on how to remove and replace the rearview mirror. Good luck.
