I just came from a 2IS 350 to a 500! I was just wondering if the Side Mirror Puddle Lights were no longer an option/feature with this current gen or it was just the IS500 in general? First world problems but I do miss having an exterior 'welcoming' light as I approached/unlocked my car at night.

can get the door lights too as an add on. those are pretty cheap and very easy to install.

You're not alone, I miss the car welcoming me as i approached. Did you ever find a solution?
My NX had puddle lights on all four doors. It would backlight the doorhandle and shine down to the ground from all four doors. Wish had that type of puddle lighting.

yeah agree, that would've been ideal. the exterior is so dark upon approach or unlock at night!
I did buy the OEM door handle cup LEDs that come on our front doors. I plan to install them to the rear doors as the back area is very dark and only the window and door lock switches are illuminated.

Yeah they were so cool. As you approached the car they would slowly light up and as you walked away they would slowly dim away. Kind of like how our interior lights do right now but it would have been nicer to have outside lights do the same.
