i have contacted d3, but i'm not able to get the engine to rev above 6900k. So for anyone who is buying for increased rev limit. It might be a hit or miss.
That's odd. I typically don't rev that high, but can definitely do it in manual mode with traction control fully off. Hit me up on IG @j3isfs_la I'll send you a video.

I have no idea why it doesn't. The throttle response is definitely better, and in fact it is almost edgy. So the tune is definitely written into the cars computer. However, i have no luck in getting the engine to rev higher.

In the custom tune screenshots you posted I noticed you selected the "stock tune" setting. I wonder if this is affecting the rev limit? I am in CA with 91 octane gas and have no issues. D3 told me it is fine to use the tune with 91 octane, so that's not a problem at all. I reved the car to 7200 today again and no issues at all.
I have a ‘17 300awd and also use the RR tune, purchased once it was released. Works great IMO, so far so good with just over 100k clocked on the mileage. Just seen some posting RR didn’t support ‘17 & up so didn't know for sure.
Thanks JCMno for the help. I'm now able to get the engine to even 7400rpm as long as i have VSC fully disabled.
And its absolutely a gas guzzler
I know this is like 6 months later, but I would love to see a vide of you doing a pull with 7400RPM. I personally haven't seen a video out there with that high of a limit, only 7200. I bet it sounds pretty good.
You have to fully deactivate traction control, set the car in sports mode, and shift manual.
you gotta do all that just to enjoy the 7200 rpm? From what I’ve seen, RR Racing lets it shift to 7200 rpm even in auto mode in any drive mode with traction control on or off. That’s a bummer
