The most reputable IS tune is from RR Racing but they have not cracked the ECU's for 17-20 IS models yet. Supposedly they're working on it.
It's easy to understand. - Its because of posters like this in the Bold above /\.

Been Modding Lexus for years and years now. This poster is also the reason why we cant get the large support of companys like the Nissan's and Infinity's and Chargers get. It's experts that come with the Real BS.

JC there are diffrent Stages of the D3 Tune you have. When you go to the Intake and Exhaust or any other the match up you will feel quite more and more the diffrence. Another thing is once you have a smooth and increaded Tq curve with a Tune, it does not feel like its as much as before when it had dips and it went from a dip stock to increase. I would not want a Lexus that does not have the D3 Tune.

FYI: In your Post you trashed a paid CL Vendor who has Tuned the Lexus ECU's that everyone is happy with.

Where did you get this info you posted.? Out of your _ _ _? You called the ECU Tune company - "seriously misrepresenting themselves and then some...".

You are the only one who is -"seriously misrepresenting themselves, and then some...and then some way more extra.

Stop posting anymore advise for others. Read, search, ask question and comprehend here on CL. You are Exposed as just someone who has Zero knowlege. lol!

Agreed - - I have an hps intake and full apexi catback. I am just happy with the D3 tune. Can't complain at all.

You guys think it makes sense to buy that D3 tuner with a stock IS350?

If D3 had a Tune for the Lexus I would not drive one without the tune on it. Yes it will change somethings nicely driveability wise and give it more Tq, even stock. Here's another good thing. What could go wrong when on their home page they give a:
  • 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

Most tunes on these engines are not going to be able to see huge gains, but i think people who are on the fence about getting a tune want to see ACTUAL data.

@jgscott Would love to see some real data (Roll races, dragy numbers, etc. ) from the D3 tune you have and how it compares to others.

I have the RR tune now, considering switching but haven't seen many tunes out there that backup their claims other than dyno numbers, etc.

Folks, let's drop the discussion on who is right and wrong and bring it back around to factual information about tunes. @jgscott I think you have made your point, can we please move on? @PrimeDave same idea. No need to respond to something that doesn't warrant a response. Thanks everyone.

By the way, I can just close the thread if it can't stay on-topic and civil, which I will immediately do if this post is ignored.

Respectfully.....

Guys I am not the test bed data source for you. There are many vids on the Tunes, Dyno, comments, 0-60 and other out there. I can only tell you that I thought it was a dis on D3 with some of the comments. I would have said the same about RR too if. Spend your $$$$, and do your own test as I have. Again there is a 30day money Back.

I don't have any affiliation with D3 at all. Here someone that has done some things you ask linked below. I am in Metro Atlanta. If someone with Headers and any Tune wants to test. Let me know. Need to have Headers and Tune.

Want to report back. I bought the tuner for my IS 350 2022. I was able to get the d3 throttle response. The difference is pretty obvious on that one. But I'm not able to lift the rev limiter to 7200rpm. Maybe it's because I'm not using 93 gas. I don't know.
below are my settings for the tune. Sent an email to d3 about the rev limit, but no response yet.

i tried with the 93 octane hp tune as the base tune file and selected 7200rpm again. I'm not getting 7200rpm with 91 gas with this tune either.

You have to fully deactivate traction control, set the car in sports mode, and shift manual.

I have never heard that you have to deactivate TC to get the shift point to work. I would call D3 and let them know what you trying to do and ask for help.

Also what engine Mods do you have? You may be wasting your time with 7200rmp shifts with not the right mods and Not running 93 octane.

i have contacted d3, but i'm not able to get the engine to rev above 6900k. So for anyone who is buying for increased rev limit. It might be a hit or miss.
