AC suddenly not working
AC was working fine about 2 hours ago but suddenly stopped flowing air out of the vents on my way home just now. Defrosters work as normal but when switching to the other modes it doesn’t want to push any air out. It sounds like it but isn’t. Going to attach a video below.
Any help appreciated.

Edit: That is so weird. Went into my car to try a couple things out and now it’s working fine? I’m not complaining by any means but is there any reason why it stopped working in the first place?

The servo may have been momentarily stuck. There are several servos in the HVAC system that control hat and cold, mode position for where to blow the air, and the dual zone functions.
There was a special service campaign for the servos if they were causing issues.
You may want to inquire with your local dealer...you are likely eligible.

By disconnecting the battery it simply resets the servo motors...so they should work fine after until the issue occurs again.
Eventually when the servo fails then replacement will be the only fix. As part of the service campaign they also reprogram the AC Amplifier (ECU).
What was suggested will work, but it's only a temporary fix to the underlying issue.

The service campaign is fairly new...each one will have it's own expiry date.
Some are a couple years, some a decade, some never expire...it really depends.
