Default Seafoam in TB?

I've got a 2016 is200t, recently got a check engine light for misfire #1 cylinder. Replaced plugs and code went away for a week.

Started rough this morning and check engine light popped.

I want to seafoam the intake in hopes of cleaning **** out a little, has anyone done this? Where should I injectors from? Getting to TB looks tough, can I go through the vac line on the side of the TB?

Should I not?

I've seen vids of engines where they scoped the pistons before/after seafoam there was no difference. I guess you could try but be very careful if you introduce too much you can bend a rod or 3.

I've seen just as many, going the other way as well. Never know what to believe.

I just dont know the best way to access closest to the TB.

Cleaning up carbon in a few minutes with a liquid sucked through the intake seems too good to be true doesn't it? It will make massive amounts of smoke, I've also found that if you have even a slight exhaust leak (that you didn't know existed) Seafoam will ooze out.

Not familiar with your engine, in theory most any vacuum line will work pull one of them see if it has constant vacuum if so that's what you use.

I think you're absolutely correct, but saying that, I'm not looking for a end all solution, because I know there isn't one.

I'm trying to clean my injectors without the dealership costing me 1k when I know they just donthe exact same thing for their "injector cleaning" service.

I've used Seafoam in the fuel tank, my mileage went down for 1 tank after that maybe the engine ran better not sure. It didn't run worse. This is generally accepted as the best fuel system cleaner.

Yeah I was going to suggest to dump it in the fuel tank as well. Best case you will see some improvement and further pinpoint your engine/injectors need a cleaning. I also have a 200t and want to clean the throttle body but have no idea how to get to it lol
