Default Check Engine Light On

Hey Guys[got a problem i did a tune up on my 96 Lexus LS400 with 125,000 changed plugs with factory Denso and replaced wires also factory wire harness.I accured a small problem when removing intake airfilter unit i had to remove some vacum lines and other small hoses ,when removing them they cracked and broke i taped them with electical tape as temorary to drrive to parts and get new hoses i noticed my check engine light on .i since replaced the hoses car runs great but that dam check engine light is still on.I didnt get the code but i will have it read as soon as a geta code readed.mean while any suggestions you guys are the pros!!!:

You might try to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the check engine condiction. If it reoccurs, have the error code read out.

did u disconnect the MAF and start he car? then realized it and connected it again? if so then u needa clear the OBDII codes.

Disconnected Battery and reconnected it Engine light is off Runs like a champ!!Tammy your terriffic!!!!
